Dear Customer
Recently a new Linux vulnerability has been discovered named Copy Fail that can cause unprivileged accounts that have access to your server to escalate to root (known as a Local Privilege Escalation or LPE). This affects any Linux system since 2017 and thus you are likely affected as well. The fix is simply to upgrade your kernel and perform a reboot.
Instructions for Debian based systems (Debian, Ubuntu, etc.)
sudo apt update sudo apt upgrade -y reboot
Instructions for RHEL based systems (CentOS, CloudLinux, AlmaLinux, Rocky Linux, etc.)
sudo dnf clean metadata && sudo dnf upgrade
sudo reboot
Please apply the update as soon as possible and feel free to reach out to our support staff if you require any assistance
